What you will need:
500G Carrots (Chopped into sticks if not the baby ones)
2 Tbsp Oil (Rapeseed or olive)
1 Tbsp Honey
How to Make it
- Heat your oven to 180°C.
- Place your carrots into a roasting tray and mix with the oil and some salt and pepper
- Put your carrots in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and stir the honey in.
- Put back in the oven for 20 Minutes or until tender. (Keep an eye on them so the honey doesn’t burn!).
You can add other flavours to these, like cumin, coriander or caraway seeds- Just mix a spoon into the carrots with the oil.
You can also add juice from an orange or whole-grain mustard in with the honey.
These go really nicely with Moroccan dishes like lamb and cous cous or on the side of your roast dinner, just change the flavours to suit!
